POLAND

Three people were arrested after a series of break-ins over the course of two hours early Tuesday.

Keith Sarrach, 23 of Warren Avenue, Niles, Roxann Putnam, 32, of State Road in Warren, and Tera Watters, 24, also of Warren Avenue in Niles are charged with misdemeanor obstructing official business and felony receiving stolen property.

Watters and Putnam were in Mahoning County Area Court in Canfield on Tuesday where both had their bonds revoked on a case of felony receiving stolen property and identity fraud and misdemeanor misuse of a credit card from June 10. They are in the Mahoning County jail.

Watters also appeared in Mahoning County Area Court in Austintown on Wednesday for the Poland charges and has a pretrial set for 1 p.m. July 7. Court documents were not available Wednesday on Sarrach and Putnam for the Poland charges.

Township police Chief Brian Goodin said the three entered at least 10 cars from midnight to 2 a.m. at two area developments. He said six to seven victims have claimed property and two more victims have stepped forward.

Authorities recovered laptops, wallets, credit cards and sunglasses, among other items taken. According to a police report, police still are seeking two suspects.

Goodin reminded residents to “try not to leave anything of value in the car.”
