Remember: Rod Stewart tickets go on sale Friday

YOUNGSTOWN — The rush for Rod Stewart tickets is about to arrive.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for the Aug. 24 concert by the British rock legend at Covelli Centre.

Prices are $175 (first 10 rows), $136.50, $76.50 and $46.50 (additional fees may apply).

Tickets will be available at ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets and by phone at 1-800-745-3000. A small number of tickets also will be sold at the arena box office.

About 5,700 seats will be available for the concert. Eric Ryan, director of Covelli Centre and the promoter of the concert, expects the show will quickly sell out.

Stewart is one of the top-selling musical artists of all time. His hits include “Maggie May,” “Forever Young,” “Tonight’s the Night,” “Hot Legs” and “Young Turks.”

His Covelli appearance will be a greatest-hits concert.
