AUSTINTOWN
Samantha Lynn Shaffer and Kevin Warren Steele are engaged, their parents are announcing. Her parents are Douglas and Amy Shaffer, and his mother is Rachel Steele. All reside in Austintown. The late Thomas Steele is the father of the future groom.
Invitations will be extended for a 2:30 p.m. ceremony Aug. 16 at Austintown Community Church and for a reception at St. Mary Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.
The couple are graduates of Youngstown State University.
Miss Shaffer earned a bachelor’s degree in middle school education. She works as a waitress at Inner Circle Pizza in Canfield.
Mr. Steele earned an associate degree in criminal justice. He works in meter reader services for Penn Power in Cranberry, Pa.
