Chrysler 200 tops list for best car savings in June

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) — The Chrysler 200 Touring, with a 15.6 percent average off the manufacturer’s suggested retail price, tops June’s list of best savings on new vehicles, according to TrueCar, the negotiation-free car buying platform.

Other vehicles listed in the best savings on new vehicles for this month are:

• 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with the market average of $28,671 and the MSRP at $33,940.

• 2014 BMW X1, sdrive28i with the market average at $27,456 and the MSRP at $31,825.

• 2014 Nissan Murano with the market average of $25,809 and the MSRP at $29,390.

• 2014 Toyata Prius with the market average at $22,332 and the MSRP at $25,010.

The monthly publication, “TrueSavings” analyzes recent transaction prices and identifies opportunities for consumer savings.
