Man, 18, faces burglary charge

An 18-year-old man was arrested on a burglary charge and a 40-year-old woman on a complicity charge after police stopped the pickup truck they occupied and found in its bed an air conditioner and a television.

After police, who were responding to a burglary call, spotted the pickup truck on McGuffey Road, they stopped it on Wick Avenue near the eastbound service road at 3:31 p.m. Saturday and arrested and jailed Gary L. Teague Jr. and Lucinda Langer, both of Idlewood Avenue.

The police report did not identify the location of the burglary, but it said the vehicle police stopped matched the description of the vehicle identified in the burglary report.
