Yuengling’s Ice Cream officially made it to western Pennsylvania and Ohio and is available in all Giant Eagle locations.

The family-owned Yuengling’s was reintroduced to the marketplace this year after 65 years of being off of the shelves.

Giant Eagle will carry all 10 flavors including the signature black and tan (chocolate and caramel).

The American Petroleum Institute has launched a website, www.oilgasworkforce.com, which offers information to those interested in careers, training and certification the natural- gas industry has to offer, according to a release issued on the API website.

The new website offers both English and Spanish versions and builds on existing recruiting initiatives by API and companies to reach veterans groups, labor unions, African-American and Hispanic communities, colleges and universities.

Priceline buying OpenTable for $2.6B

Priceline has negotiated a $2.6 billion entree into the restaurant business.

The global travel booking king announced Friday it is acquiring OpenTable Inc. in a deal that would put Priceline into a new business doing for restaurant reservations much what it does for hotel bookings.

The deal should give Priceline a new way to cater to its increasingly mobile-savvy customers, while parlaying Priceline’s global reach to expand OpenTable to other countries.

P.F. Chang’s chain confirms breaches

NEW YORK

P.F. Chang’s confirmed Friday that data from credit and debit cards used at its restaurants was stolen.

The company learned about the security breach Tuesday from the U.S. Secret Service and began investigating the breach with the agency and a team of forensics experts.

The company is working with credit-card companies to determine which cards may have been affected.
