MEADVILLE, PA. — A public meeting on Conneaut Lake Park is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday at Conneaut Lake Volunteer Fire Department, 11965 State Highway 618.
It will be a joint informational meeting for the Crawford County commissioners, the Sadsbury Township Board of Supervisors, the Summit Township Board of Supervisors and the Conneaut school board. Those are the four authorities that levy property taxes on the park.
The meeting will include a presentation from the Economic Progress Alliance of Crawford County on its proposal for development of the park and payment of back taxes, interest and penalties owed by the park.
Conneaut Lake Park is scheduled for a sheriff’s sale in late October.
