FINDLAY, Ohio
Authorities in northwest Ohio say that two people were killed in an early morning small-plane crash.
The Hancock County sheriff’s office says that the crash occurred about 1:10 a.m. Sunday. Authorities say the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board launched investigations of the single-engine plane crash that killed both people on board.
The Blade newspaper of Toledo reports that the plane crashed into a ditch, along a county road just northeast of the city of Findlay. The falling plane clipped a power line, knocking it down.
