Michael and Claire Passas of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rena Passas, and Gregory Shak, both of Columbus. His parents are David and Mary Shak of Lima, Ohio.
The couple are planning a 2:30 p.m. wedding ceremony Sept. 13 at St. John the Forerunner Greek Orthodox Church. A reception will follow at The Maronite Center in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for both.
The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Ohio State University and a juris doctorate from Capital University Law School. She is a staff attorney for the Franklin County public defender in Columbus.
The future groom earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from OSU and a juris doctorate from Capital University. He is an attorney for Sikora Law LLC in Columbus.
