YOUNGSTOWN

A woman told police she was jumped by two other women in a mobile-phone store Thursday afternoon, and when she tried to leave, they rammed her car.

Police were called to an auto accident in the 1200 block of Wabash Avenue about 3:05 p.m. Thursday, where a woman told them she was inside a store at South and Marmion avenues when two women she knew came in and began arguing with her.

The 26-year-old victim told police the women came up to her in the store and poured a drink over her head and then started kicking and punching her before the victim left. Outside, the two women then rammed the victim’s car, reports said.

Officers found damage on the woman’s car and she had cuts on her arms and legs, reports said. Reports said officers watched video of the confrontation and could see the victim getting the drink poured over head and that she was also knocked into a display case and broke the glass, which accounted for the cuts on her legs.
