Teen-ager indicted on 11 counts of aggravated robbery

YOUNGSTOWN

A Mahoning County grand jury indicted a 17-year-old on 11 counts of aggravated robbery Thursday.

Manny Zarlengo, who has addresses listed in court documents on either Lucius or Tod avenues, was indicted for a series of robberies last October.

Zarlengo was taken into custody June 25, county jail records show.

The indictment alleges that Zarlengo robbed a Dollar General store Oct. 4; a Family Dollar store Oct. 8; a Taco Bell on Oct. 12; a Subway restaurant Oct. 17; and a McDonald’s on Oct. 18.

The maximum penalty for aggravated robbery is 10 years in prison, and for the firearm specifications, three years.
