Mich. man arraigned in New Castle on homicide charge


NEW CASTLE, PA. — D’Marco D. Hoskins, 22, of Highland Park, Mich., arraigned Wednesday in connection with the killing Sunday of Thomas Lee Everett Paris, 43, of Ellwood City, is in Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police in New Castle, Hoskins is charged in a separate incident concerning the shooting and killing of Paris at Walnut Ridge Apartments in Ellwood City.

When originally questioned by police about the homicide, Hoskins provided a false name and identity. It was also discovered he had misdemeanor warrants in Michigan.

As a result, police charged Hoskins with unsworn falsification to authorities and false identification to law enforcement authorities. Police said the investigation is continuing and more charges against him are pending.
