An administrator from the staff of Republican Gov. John Kasich has been re-hired by Ohio Right to Life as its executive director.
Stephanie Renade Krider begins her new position with the state’s largest anti-abortion group Aug. 4.
Krider had been serving as program manager for the Governor’s Cabinet Opiate Action Team, which coordinates Kasich’s cross-agency efforts to fight opiate abuse in the state. Among initiatives launched during Krider’s tenure was a project to address neonatal abstinence syndrome, where newborns experience withdrawal symptoms from drugs or alcohol abused by their mothers.
