Author will sign books on animals

LISBON

Author Kathryn Blystone Watkins will host a book-signing event from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. July 28-Aug. 3 at the Columbiana County Fair, 225 Lee Ave.

Watkins, a resident of Rogers, Ohio, will be available to sign copies of her book series, “Log Cabin Stories.” In her books, she shares her stories of her life with animals on her “almost heaven” farm in rural Rogers.

It comes from 45 years of research compiled from the animals that have come into her life.

The series includes more than 40 books. The stories are nonfiction and educational.
