Diabetic Alert Dog for Cameron Fundraiser
There’s a local fundraiser accepting donations and sponsorships to help Cameron Gumble get a diabetic alert dog.
K-9’s for Compassion, The Learning Dog Training and Enrichment Center, along with the Gumble family are asking local businesses and individuals for donations of all kinds and are hosting several events to raise money for Cameron.
A diabetic alert dog is a specially trained service dog that warns its type 1 diabetic owner of damaging and dangerous spikes and drops in their blood glucose levels. These dogs are trained specifically for their owners’ needs.
