“Community Connection” (Sunday at 6:30 a.m. on 21 WFMJ-TV, and 11 a.m. on WBCB-TV): For the second time, the African American Men’s Wellness Walk will take place in Youngstown. The Rev. Lewis Macklin, McDonald Mayor Glenn Holmes and Kevin Ellerbe will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the purpose of the walk, invite the community to participate and reveal the honorary chairmen of the walk: Warren Mayor Doug Franklin, former Youngstown Mayor Jay Williams and Holmes.

Registered dietician and national media personality Michelle Dudash will join Community Connection via satellite to discuss healthy alternatives for salt, including the use of fruit and lemon juice.

Next, Dena Rupert DeLuco, hypnotherapist, will share tips and information on the various techniques of hypnosis, how it affects the human body and how viewers can benefit from being hypnotized.

“Increase the Peace” (6:30 p.m. today and 6:30 a.m. Sunday on MyYTV): Host Andrea Mahone’s guests will be Eboni Gordon and Lorne Laney, who will discuss educational and social issues that affect today’s youths.

“A Conversation with Dee” (8:30 a.m. Sunday on WKBN-TV): Host Dee Crawford has a conversation with Dr. Laura Meeks, president of Eastern Gateway Community College. Topics will include EGCC’s 26 career and transfer programs as well as its Gateway Grant program.

Crown Theater to present ‘Alice’
