YSU plans 2 days for high school students


YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown State University plans Experience Y Days for high school students Monday and July 28.

Both events run from 7:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will aim to answer questions from prospective students and their families regarding academic majors, career opportunities, campus activities and campus life.

Attendees will meet President Jim Tressel, hear from admissions and financial aid personnel; participate in campus, residence hall, academic facility tours; hear from college representatives and enjoy lunch with university faculty, staff and students.

Monday covers the colleges of business administration, creative arts and communication and education. July 28 the colleges of health and human services; liberal arts and social sciences; and science, technology, engineering and mathematics will be represented.
