The sci-fi horror film “I, Frankenstein” lumbered into theaters Friday, just the latest in movie reincarnations of the monster made from human parts. Here are five other notable movies based on the creature invented by novelist Mary Shelley in 1818:
v “Frankenstein” (1931): Starring Boris Karloff in his signature role as the sympathetic creature. Karloff also made “The Bride of Frankenstein” (1935) and “Son of Frankenstein” (1939).
v “The Curse of Frankenstein” (1957): Hammer Film Productions’ first foray into the Frankenstein mythos.
v “Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man” (1943): A classic from Universal.
v “Young Frankenstein” (1974): One of Mel Brooks’ funniest films.
v “Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein” (1994): A flawed but compelling adaptation of the novel with none other than Robert De Niro as the creature.
“Pro Bowl” (7:30 P.M., NBC): Aloha! The NFL’s All-Star game kicks off from Honolulu.
“The Bachelor: SEAN AND CATHERINE’S WEDDING” (8 P.M., ABC): “Nuptials” always sounded like a dirty word to me, but that’s OK — it is “The Bachelor.”
THE 56TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS (8 p.m., CBS): Yes, Jay Z leads the pack with nine nominations, but this is the one awards show where we care more about the performances than the trophies. And what a list of stars we have this year, including Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Willie Nelson, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Metallica, and Carole King. Returning to host the festivities from L.A. is LL Cool J.
“The Simpsons” (8 p.m., Fox): Trouble in Springfield paradise? On “The Simpsons,” Homer discovers that Marge has been seeing a marriage counselor. D’oh!
“True Detective” (9 p.m., HBO): The mesmerizing limited series, “True Detective,” continues to weave its spell. In tonight’s episode, Cohle and Hart (Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson) find a hidden image they hope can lead them to the mysterious serial killer they seek.

Exhibition of art of Paris garden
TOLEDO
The art of the Tuileries Garden at the Louvre in Paris is the subject of a major international exhibition on view Feb. 13-May 11 at the Toledo Museum of Art.
One hundred works related to the garden will be on display, including large-scale sculptures, paintings, photographs, prints and architectural models. On loan from the vast collections of the Louvre, as well as the Musee Carnavalet, the Palace of Versailles, and other museums and private lenders, many have never before been exhibited outside Paris.
