Gold jewelry up for bid Saturday in Columbus
COLUMBUS – Gold jewelry will be among the items available for bid at Ohio's miscellaneous property auction Saturday.
The auction will be at the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, General Services Division headquarters, 4200 Surface Road.. The doors open at 8 a.m.; the auction begins at 9 a.m.
The jewelry encompasses 13 rings and four pendants. Unlike the remainder of the auction, minimum bids are placed on the jewelry.
Other auction items include office furniture and electronic equipment and a variety of miscellaneous items, including exercise equipment and two 17-foot canoes. John Deere equipment also is available, including 445 lawn tractor, 520 snow thrower and implement lift frames.
Inventory is subject to prior sale to governmental entities.
Purchased items must be paid for in full the day of the sale. Cash and credit cards are accepted. All methods of payment other than cash must be approved by the auctioneers, Cassel & Associates. All purchased items must be picked up by 3 p.m. Jan. 15. Regular warehouse hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The warehouse is open until 6 p.m. the day of the auction.
