Miss Mulcahy, Mr. Biggs set summer rites

Mark and Nancy Mulcahy of Atlanta, formerly of Boardman and Poland, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Marie Mulcahy, and David Alan Biggs of Atlanta.

The couple are planning a summer wedding.

The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in education. She has master’s and specialist degrees from Brenau College.

She is employed as a gifted teacher with Fulton County Schools in Atlanta.

Mr. Biggs is the son of Greg Biggs of Johns Creek, Ga., and Kathy Frye of Peachtree Corners, Ga. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in business and is employed as a senior underwriter with AIG in Atlanta.
