Warren man indicted in crash that injured cop

WARREN

Jermaine Hall Sr., 37, of Logan Avenue, has been indicted in a Nov. 25 crash that injured a Warren police officer.

Hall was indicted in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court on aggravated vehicular assault, operating a motor vehicle impaired, failure to stop after an accident and aggravated drug possession.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Hall hit the back of Patrolman David Weber’s cruiser as Weber was leaning into it during a traffic investigation on West Market Street.

The collision injured Weber but not Hall, who continued driving after the crash.

Hall was apprehended a short time later.

If convicted, Hall could get more than five years in prison.
