NWS downgrades Leavittsburg flood threat


WARREN

The National Weather Service has downgraded the threat of flooding to the Leavittsburg area, estimating that the high-water mark will reach only 7.9 feet at 2 Saturday.

Earlier it was predicted to reach above 11 feet.

It had climbed from 3 feet on Thursday to 4.5 feet this morning.

Minor flooding begins at 10 feet.
