Angels for Animals and Paisley House combine efforts

A special bond was recently forged when the ladies of Paisley House fostered eight-year-old dog, Libby.

When Libby’s elderly owners were moving and were unable keep her, they reached out to Angels for Animals for help. Angels for Animals, in turn, reached out to Jill Cox, executive director of Paisley House. Libby came for a visit to Paisley and found a new home. The adoption was finalized this January.

Libby adapted quickly to her new home and residents of Paisley house love having her in their home. Through the adoption process, Paisley House has become aware of Angels for Animals needs. The two not-for-profit organizations are now working together.

The Paisley House is now a Youngstown collection site for donations for Angels for Animals.

The Angels facility is located on W. South Range Road in Canfield. Paisley House has an in-town location and space to collect donations. The two organizations are looking for other ways to help each other, the elderly and the animals.
