Weather not a factor in death

Coitsville

Inclement weather conditions do not appear to be a factor in Tuesday’s accident that resulted in the death of a 67-year-old Lowellville man.

Instead, a preliminary investigation into the accident by the Canfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol has revealed that the death of Leonard Fabry likely was medically related.

According to a patrol press release, Fabry had been traveling westbound on U.S. Route 422 in Coitsville when his car traveled off the north side of the roadway and down an embankment. The accident — which occurred about 6:45 a.m. Tuesday — caused no damage to Fabry’s car.

Fabry was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead at the emergency room.

The accident remains under investigation.
