After Hours Care clinic now open

ALLIANCE

Alliance Community Hospital recently opened its ACH After Hours Care clinic that provides urgent-care services to the city and surrounding communities. ACH After Hours Care is open 4 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday with weekend hours planned for the near future.

The facility, at 2461 W. State St., Suite A, is a walk-in medical clinic that specializes in providing treatment of minor injuries and illness. ACH After Hours Care is a low-cost alternative to an ER visit and offers patients immediate access to care at a local facility, said Susan Lucas, director of public relations/foundation at ACH.

Urgent care should be used when an individual is sick and their primary physician is not available or when the condition is not serious enough to visit the emergency room.
