Federal indictment against Youngstown man charged with selling crack
YOUNGSTOWN — A federal grand jury indicted a city man on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, owning a gun not registered to him and operating a crack house, Steven M. Dettelbach, the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District Of Ohio, said today.
The indictment charges 39-year-old Deangelo Young with having a home on East Chalmers Avenue in August where he sold crack cocaine and that on Aug. 29, he had two .22-caliber revolvers and a .38-caliber revolver as well as ammunition despite a prior felony-conviction in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court for trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine.
He also is accused of having a gun with a silencer that was not registered to him.
