Tri-county chiropractors collecting Cuddly Critters for Kids in Crisis

Staff report

YOUNGSTOWN

The Eastern Ohio Chiropractic Society this month is sponsoring its annual toy drive, “Cuddly Critters for Kids in Crisis,” and encouraging new and current patients to donate new children’s toys to benefit two local organizations that help families facing domestic violence.

Participating Trumbull County chiropractors will donate toys to Someplace Safe of Trumbull County, and participating Mahoning County chiropractors will donate toys to Sojourner House of Youngstown.

New patients who donate one or more new toys during the drive will receive a free chiropractic consultation, a doctor’s report of findings and treatment recommendation.

New toys can be donated at these participating clinics:

Warren: Back2Health, 1975 Niles-Cortland Road; Trumbull County Chiropractic, 3635 Elm Road NE.

Boardman: Parkside Chiropractic, 945 Boardman-Canfield Road, Suite 11.

Poland: D’Amato Chiropractic and Acupuncture Clinic, 841 Southwestern Run, Suite 2; Szalay Chiropractic, 8270 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road.

EOCS doctors practice and live in Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties and sponsor several philanthropic drives to support the Mahoning Valley, including the back-to-school coat drives in August and Thanksgiving food drives.

The EOCS, an affiliate of the Ohio State and American Chiropractic Associations, promotes the science, philosophy and art of the chiropractic profession.
