Mahoning Valley pastors and ministers urged to attend Warren event

WARREN — Mahoning Valley pastors and ministers are invited to a “Help for the Hurting” mini-conference 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 20 at Enzo’s Restaurant, 2918 Elm Road. The conference is sponsored by Teen Straight Talk.

Help for the Hurting seeks to explore remedies for the issues that have plagued individuals, families, churches and communities. It is a continuum and prelude to last year’s Strengthening the Family conference, scheduled again this year for June.

Bishop Joey Johnson will be conference facilitator. He is founder and senior pastor of The House of the Lord in Akron, a congregation of 2,000. He is the presiding bishop of the Beth El Fellowship of Visionary Churches.

Cost is $30 per person and includes the conference and dinner. The event is for pastors and ministers only.

There will be no ticket sales at the door; register by Sunday. For information, contact Mary Duke at Teen Straight Talk at 330-539-6040 or 330-307-7074.
