ASSOCIATIONS

Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon Street, Canfield. Retired history teacher Elizabeth “Liz” Cole-Clark of the Upton Association is the guest speaker. She will talk about Harriet Taylor Upton, whose residence in Warren became the center of the National Women’s Suffrage Association in the early 1900s and whose life has been referenced in the popular PBS series “Downton Abbey.” The buffet dinner will feature Southern baked chicken, sausage with peppers and onions, sand-trap potatoes, Italian mixed vegetables, salad and dessert. SINGLES

D.A.R.E. Singles Group, which meets at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman, has planned the following: Saturday, bowling at Boardman Lanes at 7 p.m.; Monday, meet at Peaberry’s in Canfield for coffee at 7 p.m.; Jan. 2, lobby of Movies 8, Shops at Boardman Park, 6:30 p.m.; Jan. 3, bowling at Boardman Lanes, 7 p.m.

SUPPORT GROUPS

Nar-Anon, a 12-step program for relatives and friends who have been adversely affected by a loved one’s addiction to drugs, will meet at 7 p.m. Friday at Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic, 160 Clifton NE, Howland. For information call 330 856-3822.
