City police are investigating a incident in which three people inside of an SUV were shot at.
The vehicle was pulling out of the Oak Street Market lot about 9:30 p.m. Friday when the occupants said they saw muzzle flashes coming from a driveway on Livingston Avenue. They realized they were being shot at, a police report said, got out of the SUV and fled into the store. Police found three bullet holes in the vehicle and a black tape-covered ball with a wick sticking out of it lying on the ground. Officers from the department’s crime lab and bomb squad collected evidence.
