STREET FIGHT | Charges

Thirteen people face charges in connection with a street fight and the death of 17-year-old Shawn Cortez on Sunday on Winona Avenue. One person, an adult, is not yet in custody.

Charged with aggravated riot and involuntary manslaughter, both with firearm specifications:

Dequann Fleeton, 29

Rontrell White, 25

Rouxje Ezell, 20

Facing the same charges plus a count of obstructing justice:

Carlisha Hammonds, 19

Also:

Carla Higgins, 46, obstructing justice.

Carl Fleeton, 41, aggravated riot, involuntary manslaughter and being a felon in possession of a firearm, all with firearm specifications.

David Belton, 32, aggravated riot, involuntary manslaughter and felonious assault, all with firearm specifications.

Dejon Jenkins, 19, complicity to commit murder and aggravated riot.

Juveniles who are charged:

David Jenkins, 17, two counts of murder, felonious assault, aggravated riot, involuntary manslaughter and firearm specifications.

Tyrice Logan, 17, aggravated riot, involuntary manslaughter.

Tyrion Logan, 15, aggravated riot, involuntary manslaughter.

Christian Michael Lee Tensley, 16, aggravated riot, involuntary manslaughter.
