Hope For The Homeless festival features music

YOUNGSTOWN

Hope For The Homeless, an outdoor music festival, will take place Friday in the street outside the Royal Oaks, 924 Oak St., on the East Side. Admission is $10.

Skull’Rz Bane will perform from 10 to 11 p.m. Other bands will include Punk Willie at 9 p.m., the Dispersers at 7:45 p.m., and Sonny and the Deliciously Odd at 6:30 p.m.

The event will include a free buffet, 50/50 drawing, basket auction and giveaways.

All of the proceeds will go to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley.

Arab American Festival celebrates its 3rd year

YOUNGSTOWN

The third-annual Arab American Festival of Youngstown will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. on West Federal Street, between Hazel and Phelps streets.

West Federal will be closed to traffic for the event.

The festival will include live music, including singer Tony Eid, Arab foot and drinks, belly dancers and representation from several Arab nations.
