A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

April 20

Drug possession: Vincent Dastolfo, 21, of Tulane Avenue, was arrested on two counts of drug possession.

April 21

Warrant for larceny: Theodore Tsesmilles, 61, of Tulane Avenue, was arrested on a larceny warrant out of Stark County while at Canfield Mayor’s Court.

April 22

Warrant: Johnathan Hapcic 38,of Warner Road, Hubbard, was arrested on a Canfield Mayor’s Court failure to appear warrant.

April 24

Drugs: Jay Travor, 20, of Graves Road, Hanoverton, was arrested on charges of drug abuse, drug paraphernalia and contempt or court.

AUSTINTOWN

April 21

Warrant: Raymond Bell, 55, of Mahoning Avenue, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal trespassing.

Breaking and entering: A rear window of a vacant house in the 200 block of Carnegie Avenue was broken, and clothes and tires were taken.

Theft: Soda and dog food were taken by an unidentified male at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

April 22

Burglary: A purse, money and prescription medications were stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Fraud: Two unauthorized charges were made to a checking account totaling $352.96 at a home in the 60 block of Roanoke Ave.

Recovered property: A wallet was recovered at Hotel California, 1031 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Domestic violence: Vincent Kitano, 57, of Dunbar Avenue, was arrested on a domestic-violence charge.

Theft: Three truck batteries were stolen from an auto at Giant Eagle.

Theft: Susan Rose, 52, of Kent, was arrested in a theft of $502.77 in merchandise at Walmart.

Theft: Medication was stolen from a home in the 60 block of Atlanta Ave.

Theft: A theft was reported at Walmart, and the suspect left an identification card behind.

April 23

Fraud: Cellphone charges were made fraudulently at Sprint, 5625 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: A neighbor was making harassing phone calls at a home in the 5000 block of Raspberry Lane.

Theft: Items were recovered that had been taken at Walmart.

April 24

Warrant: Ashling Trewella, 24, of Squirrel Hill Drive, Boardman was arrested on a warrant for drug paraphernalia. Police also issued Trewella a summons for possession of 7.5 mg. of hydrocodone.

Counterfeit currency: Seven fake bills were passed at Walgreens, 5501 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: A resident of the 100 block of Howard Avenue reported a computer was hacked.

Breaking and entering: Gas cans were stolen from a garage at a home in the 4000 block of Crum Road.

Theft: Money as removed from a bank account at a home in the 3000 block of Cumberland Drive.

Breaking and entering: Gas cans were stolen from a garage at a home in the 4000 block of Crum Road.

April 25

Theft: A green truck drove off without paying at Sunoco, 5160 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Raymond Bell, 55, of Five Room Lounge, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Theft: Jewelry was taken from a home in the 2000 block of Whispering Pines Drive.

Warrant: Joseph Satarelle, 23, of West Evergreen Avenue, Youngstown as arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

April 26

Domestic violence: Lisa Beiling, 45, of South Lincoln Avenue, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

Theft: A boys bicycle was stolen from a home in the 200 block of South Main Street.

Weapons offense: Daniel Parker, 27, of Parkgate Avenue, was arrested on a Boardman warrant weapons offense, illegal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest and fleeing.

Criminal damaging: A television was broken and a chair broken by a roommate at an apartment in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Missing person: A male was reported missing and then was located on East Radio Road.

April 27

Burglary: A firearm, televisions and computer were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Blvd.

Theft: A shoplifter stole miscellaneous clothing at J.C. Penney, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A PS3 and controller were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of South Inglewood.

Warrant: Wendy Thrasher, 42, of Fountain Square Drive was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for obstruction of justice, possession of dangerous drugs (31 hyoscamine sulfate,) drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.
