Columbiana Co. man faces federal firearms violation

YOUNGSTOWN — A federal grand jury in Cleveland recently indicted a 37-year-old Columbiana man on charges of manufacturing and dealing in silencer firearms without a license and possessing a silencer not registered to him.

Brent See was charged with committing these offenses between July 2013 and January 2014, the U.S. Attorney said.

The case was investigated by U.S. postal inspectors and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; and it is being prosecuted by David M. Toepfer, the Youngstown-based assistant U.S. Attorney.
