Cab driver robbed in Warren
WARREN
A taxi driver was robbed early today by a customer who refused to take the hood from his sweatshirt off of his head and face while he took a ride from the West Side to South Feederle Drive Southeast.
The driver said he believes the male is the same one who robbed him earlier this month. During the robbery the suspect told the driver, “You should quit. I’m going to keep getting you.”
The driver picked up the male 17 to 25 years old with a goatee, white tee shirt and black hooded sweatshirt in the 2100 block of Clearwater Street Northwest at 2:20 a.m.
When they got to South Feederle, the suspect pulled out a handgun and set it in his lap, saying “Give me all of your money.” The suspect fled after getting cash.
