Youngstown City Schools job fair is Thursday

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown City School District will host its second annual job fair from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Choffin Career and Technical Center, 200 E. Wood St.

Human resources staff from the district will be recruiting for full-time and substitute certified/noncertified positions and conducting on-site interviews with interested teaching candidates.

Full-time positions include teachers, all licenses; intervention specialists such as speech pathologists, psychologists, and those for the visually impaired; and early-childhood intervention specialists.

Substitute positions needed include substitute teachers in all grade levels and positions; secretaries; paraprofessionals; bus drivers; custodians and laborers.

All candidates must be able to pass Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation/FBI background checks, physical exams, and pre-employment drug screenings.
