Man charged with attacking people with a baseball bat

Timothy W. Clay, 42, with addresses in Warren and Niles, was arrested Sunday night in the Suburban Trailer Park on 10th Street in McKinley Heights after several people reported that Clay hit them with a baseball bat.
Clay is expected to be arraigned today in Niles Municipal Court on three counts of felonious assault and one of criminal damaging.
One of the victims, a 26-year-old woman, reported that Clay hit her in the head with the bat, causing her extreme pain and blood coming out of her ear.
She and a 51-year-old woman were taken to the hospital by ambulance for their injuries.
If convicted of the charges, Clay could get around 30 years in prison.
