Importance of colorectal exam discussion Tuesday in Mineral Ridge

MINERAL RIDGE — Humility of Mary Health Partners is offering a free dinner presentation about colorectal cancer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Fifth Season Restaurant, 1400 Niles-Canfield Road.

Dr. Jawad Francis, medical oncologist, and Dr. Marie Awad-Alexander, general surgeon, will discuss risk factors, signs and symptoms of the disease and ways to reduce the risk of developing colorectal cancers, the third-leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States for men and women.
