Campbell police arrest three on drug-related charges

CAMPBELL

City police arrested three people on drug-related charges in just as many days over the weekend.

Dean D. Gore, 22, of Martha Avenue in Campbell, was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, and also cited for having only one working headlight, which caused police to stop him on Woodland Avenue at about 9:45 p.m. Friday. Police found on Gore a plastic bag containing 4.3 grams of suspected marijuana and a partial blunt containing 0.9 grams of suspected marijuana; they also confiscated $319.26 in cash.

Kevin Alan Michaels, 23, of Lourdes Lane in Campbell, was charged with possession of drugs and prescription label required, and also cited for speeding. Police stopped him on Coitsville Road at about 7 p.m. Saturday, and found three unlabeled pills — typically used to treat anxiety and panic disorders — in Michaels' wallet.

Adrra Monique Franklin, 21, of Overlook Avenue in Youngstown, was charged with prescription label required during a traffic stop shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday. Police found eight unlabeled pain-reliever pills on Franklin.

Gore, Michaels and Franklin are set to answer to these charges on Tuesday in Campbell Municipal Court.
