Girard police note damage to water tower fence

GIRARD

A police officer noticed damage to the fence at the city's water tower in the 600 block of Churchill Road.

The officer was on patrol at 4 a.m. Thursday when he noticed the damage.

Someone had cut the fence to gain access to the gutter on a gas house on the property, a police report says. Fifteen feet of gutter was pulled down and a large portion of that was stolen.
