Fake money used at Austintown Walgreens

AUSTINTOWN

Counterfeit money was used at Walgreens Thursday.

According to a police report, seven $50 bills were used to purchase a Green

Dot gift card, which can be used anywhere, worth $350 at the 5501 Mahoning

Ave. Walgreens location between 12:10 a.m. and 12:24 a.m. Thursday.

Police do have video surveillance of the suspect within Walgreens making the

purchase.
