Mercer County Courthouse closing early Friday for evacuation drill

MERCER, Pa. — The Mercer County Courthouse will close early Friday due to a scheduled emergency evacuation drill.

Members of the public already in the building will be asked to leave no later than 2:45 p.m. and no public access will be permitted after that time. The courthouse will resume normal daily operating hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, said Jeff Greenburg, the county's public-information officer.
