Trumbull County gets summer youth employment money

WARREN

The Trumbull County Department of Job and Family Services has received grant money of $753,000 that it will be able to use to hire about 325 youths in its Summer Youth Program.

The participants must be Trumbull County residents between the ages of 15 and 24. They will work 30 hours per week at $8 per hour from June 16 to Aug. 8.

Applicants must apply in person and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian if under age 18. Applicants 18 and older who are not attending high school must be a custodial or non-custodial parent.
