Howland house fire tonight on Westover

HOWLAND

A house fire was extinguished in about 15 minutes tonight in Howland.

One occupant of 1205 Westover Drive was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital for smoke inhalation. No firefighters were injured.

Fire officials said they received a call at about 9:15 p.m. on a house fire.

Crews were on scene by 9:17 p.m. and had the fire under control by 9:29 p.m.

Crews from Weathersfield, Cortland, Bazetta as well as Howland responded to the call.
