gigantic garage sale For Angels for Animals


Angels for Animals will sponsor its 20th annual garage sale this weekend.

When: Friday early bird with $5 admission from 10 a.m. to noon and $1 from noon to 7 p.m., Saturday with $1 admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., free admission and 50 percent off merchandise and 3:15 to 5 p.m., general clearance for $5 and general clearance and antiques, $10.

Where: Canfield Fairgrounds, enter by the main gate off state Route 46 in Canfield.

What’s available: The sale is organized in this way — building No. 24 has housewares including artificial flowers, glassware, household and kitchen items and health and beauty; building No. 44 has linens, clothing, shoes, antiques and collectibles; building No. 26 has large things such as furniture, outdoor items for lawn and garden and electronics and ”Man’s World” with tools.

To make a donation: Donations of goods for the sale will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and Wednesday Call 330-549-1111, ext. 330, for donation pickup by Two Men and a Truck.

What’s not accepted: No console TVs, sofa beds, encyclopedias, tires, artificial Christmas trees and mattresses and box springs.

Guidelines: At the sale, no dogs, except registered service dogs, are permitted. Strollers and wagons are allowed on the grounds but are not permitted inside the buildings. Children must be led by the hand or carried for safety reasons. All sales are final and items as is.
