UPDATE | Lamar Reese found guilty of aggravated murder

YOUNGSTOWN — After three hours of deliberations, a jury found Lamar Reese, 21, of Worthington Street, guilty of aggravated murder and aggravated robbery with firearm specifications this afternoon in the shooting death of 17-year-old Josh Davis during a marijuana deal.

Judge Maureen A. Sweeney of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court will impose sentence at a later date.

Davis was fatally shot on the front porch of a Willis Avenue house Sept. 16, 2011.

The trial of Frankie Hudson, 21, of Falls Avenue, on the same charges in this incident is scheduled to begin June 23.
