ODOT to repave streets in Salem

Resurfacing of nearly three miles of streets here will begin April 28, the Ohio Department of Transportation has announced.

The work will be done on state Route 9 (Mullins Street, North Lincoln and South Ellsworth avenues), state Route 344 (South Lincoln Avenue) and state Routes 14 and 173.

Sidewalks and curb ramps are included in the project, for which flaggers will maintain traffic.

The Shelly Co, of Twinsburg is performing the $719,676 job, which is to be completed by Aug. 31.
