Have AAA check car battery for summer

NILES

AAA East Central is hosting a free battery-wellness clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the AAA Niles location, 937 Youngstown-Warren Road.

The clinic will offer AAA members a chance to check whether their battery has survived the winter and is prepared for summer. A mobile battery-service vehicle and technicians will provide free, on-the-spot testing of a car battery, with diagnostic equipment that will confirm that the battery will hold a charge or if there may be problems in the electrical system.

AAA offers the program because of the frequency of battery-related roadside-assistance calls it gets.

For information contact Bevi Powell, senior vice president, at 1-412-365-7157.
