NOAS volunteer luncheon is Monday

WARREN — Northeast Ohio Adoption Services will have a volunteer recognition luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 28, at its headquarters at 5000 E. Market St., Suite 26.

NOAS has had many dedicated volunteers over the years. Gere Weller of Liberty has served NOAS for more than 30 years. She served on the NOAS trustee board and was instrumental in several major initiatives that benefit the children in foster care in the Mahoning Valley.

Weller will detail her projects and share some of her passion for the mission of NOAS at the luncheon.

NOAS provides adoption and foster-care services to children and teens in the child welfare system by recruiting, preparing and supporting families.
