The National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon will conduct a conference for the Feast of the Divine Mercy on April 27.

The Rev. Shannon Collins will be the guest speaker.

The schedule will be rosary at 9 a.m., Maronite Divine Liturgy at 10, confession at 11, talk titled “ St. Michael: Archangel of Mercy”at 11:15 a.m. and lunch at noon with reservations required. “St. Pio of Pietrelcina: Padre of Divine Mercy” will be the talk at 1 p.m., confessions at 2, followed by Maronite Divine Mercy Liturgy, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with chaplet of Divine Mercy, benediction and blessing with the relic of St. Faustina.

Faces of Jesus

Canfield Christian Church, 123 S. Broad St., will host a presentation by Hope Wozniak on “The Faces of Jesus in Art” at 6 p.m. May 3.

Tickets for the “Ladies Night Out” dinner are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets will be available through April 28.

Groening lecture

The Bruno Groening Circle of Friends will host a 90-minute lecture by Arlene Barkan, leader of the Youngstown and Cleveland Communities, and Internet Children’s Community North America, at 6 p.m. Thursday at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 550 S. Broad St.

The session will be at, but not affiliated with, the church.

The free introductory lecture is based on the teachings of Groening, a German healer and teacher. A shorty film will be shown.

Banquet at church

Liberty Bible Church, 2111 Sodom-Hutchings Road, will sponsor a ladies banquet at 6:30 p.m. May 2.

Friendship tea

The Missionary Society of Third Baptist Church, 1177 Park Hill Drive, will host its annual Angie Johnson Friendship Tea at 1 p.m. Thursday.

The event is open to all.
